Knife: VA Diving Knife 3007

with 2 comments

So, this is a truly old one. It was a present from my uncle when I was like 13 or 14 years old. It’s not anything fancy but I still cannot believe that it is in such an excellent condition with no maintenance at all after all these years.
Anyway, here is the knife in its case.

Model: 3007
Manufacturer: VA
Country Manufactured: Taiwan
Type: Diving Knife
Price: €10-20
Blade Length: 8cm (3.1 inches)
Total Length (open): 15.2cm (6 inches)
Total Length (closed): N/A
Blade Material: Stainless Steel
Handle Material: (unknown)
Lock: Sheath Quick Release
Weight: 100g (0.22 lbs)

It is a small knife which as you can see in the below photo has both belt and BC mounts. Although it’s a cheap knife it has excellent quality considering its low price.

Now, if you have a closer look at its blade you will see that it also has a small serrated edge which however is not very practical due to its length. On the other hand, the front line cutter is useful for numerous tasks.

Finally, at the back of its case you can find some simple instructions on how to mount it.

Overall its an average knife but definitely a good option for child going for fishing or speargun fishing since it is small and easy to use but nowadays there are much better knives on such low prices so I wouldn’t suggest going with this one.

  2. Yep. I would like to see some inspection on LSD exploits. Or some info about the scene or history of specific exploits against hardened mechanisms like grsec, selinux, kernheap and so
